He is expert of Open Innovation, Digital Transformation(DX), and Corporate Development & M&A with successful track records in IT industry.

At Rakuten, he was responsible for Strategy and Corporate Development in US, which led to successful acquisition of eBates that brings more than 70 million dollars in profit. 

He was engaged in several unicorn businesses today as founder.

He built epoch-making Retargeting Affiliate service, that generates over billion dollar sales each year.

He even started up cross-border shopping platform,, that grew to multi-hundred million sales business. 

He has various successful experiences in transforming service to profitable service with IT. 

Prior to Rakuten, he worked as Management Consultant at McKinsey and Company where he served for global high-tech companies. 


He holds M.S. from Massachusetts  Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, LL.M. from Duke University Law School

He also earned M.Eng in Electronic Engineering from University of Tokyo where he researched human brain using AI at University of Tokyo Medical School.
